Zoo Boise's 14-year-old lion Jabari unfortunately had to be euthanized today. Jabari, who had been diagnosed with cancer back in November, had originally appeared to be responding well to his chemotherapy treatment.  However, as time went on it became apparent that that was actually not the case...

Nooooooooooo!  One of the lions at Zoo Boise has been diagnosed with lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment.  Jabari is 14 years old and has been at Zoo Boise since 2008.  Veterinarians began to worry about him when they noticed he hadn't seemed like himself recently...
