Zoo Boise Lion Being Treated for Cancer
Nooooooooooo! One of the lions at Zoo Boise has been diagnosed with lymphoma and is currently undergoing treatment. Jabari is 14 years old and has been at Zoo Boise since 2008. Veterinarians began to worry about him when they noticed he hadn't seemed like himself recently. Jabari's prognosis at this point isn't known.
Zoo Boise's free admission day is on Saturday, however Jabari will not be available to the public. Zoo Boise has stated that they will update the community as the treatment process moves forward.
