Attending both the University of New Mexico and University of Oregon, Alana earned her degree in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. After college, his radio career took him from Country stations in Wichita, KS to Seattle, WA, where he co-hosted the number one morning show at the ACM Major Market Station of the year.
