I-84 Caldwell Pileup From Dust Storm

So why was I-84 blocked off for hours in Canyon County last night?  This is why.

Three vehicles were involved in a pretty good but minor pileup blocking one lane of I-84 last night because of a sudden dust storm that decided to hit the freeway.  This all went down right around milepost marker 31 on the east side of I-84 just before 7 o'clock.

The dust storm forced drivers to stop on the freeway and because of next to no visibility, they were struck from behind by a semi throwing the smaller vehicle across I-84.  The semi was then struck by another semi behind him.  Luckily, there were only three vehicles involved in the crash.  Both semi drivers are doing fine and the driver of the smaller vehicle was rushed to the hospital.  We do not know what condition he's in.
