How to Save Big on Thanksgiving Flights

The winter holidays are the most expensive times a year to travel.  I have family in a couple different states and it get's very stressful thinking that I need to save so much money to go visit them, and save for Christmas gifts at the same time.

Try buying your tickets early in November because about 10 days prior to the holiday they soar up 30% or more.  Wednesday and Sunday are the priciest day's to travel so make sure you book your trip avoiding those days if it's for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Regional airports are cheaper than major ones.  Security and checkpoints are smaller too, getting you on the plane and in the air quicker.  I love to spend time with my family as I'm sure you do so I was excited to find some tips on getting less expensive flights.
