When did I grow up?

The music...amazing. The crowd...the best. The carnival rides...oh boy.

When I was younger, I would kill to get my hands on carnival tickets. The Gravitron, The Zipper, and anything and everything that spun...I was on it!

Fast forward to Boise Music Festival 2016....

The boyfriend's daughter was extremely excited to see all the carnival rides, and to be honest, so was I. Until I actually got on them. First, I've got to say, the carnival was awesome!!! I've just come to realize, I can only take it in doses.

It all started when the little one set her eyes on the spinning berries. "Sure," I thought, "no problem." Well after three times, let's just say strawberries were not my favorite fruit.

Next was the roller coaster...this one went a lot faster than I thought, and being an adrenaline junkie, I didn't mind it, in fact, it was probably my favorite.

Ok, on to the zippy-car-spinning-flashing-lights-ride, I don't know exactly what this ride was called, because at this point, I couldn't see straight. This is when my body started screaming at me to stop. Nope, we didn't, instead we went on again.

I should note, the little one didn't even think twice about these decisions....she could've kept going...

Me, not so much.

On to the flying cars. At this point I'm trying my best just to keep from losing my lunch. I don't remember exactly how long it lasted because I was just staring down at my knees trying to hold it together.

To top it all off, we went back on the coaster.

After it was all said and done, I did not lose my lunch or my pride. But I did need a sprite and a nap. Am I officially old??
