I currently commute to Boise every morning from Nampa, and that drive takes me about 35 minutes. The drive home can be over an hour long sometimes, depending on whether or not I beat the rush and what time I can actually get on the road. If I beat the rush, it’s about a 25-minute commute, and that doesn’t seem too bad.

I work in Downtown and live in Meridian and I know that Driving into Downtown can get tricky at rush hour and that I-84 once you get past the Eagle exit especially seems to get slow going to Meridian, Nampa and Caldwell.
The Oregon Department of Transportation say "severe winter conditions" have caused multiple trucks to slide off the road especially between mileposts 287 and 289. This closure will remain in place until conditions improve and are deemed safe again.
