The family saw an empty kayak pop through the falls in the water right behind them. After a few minutes they saw a man face down in the water, his life jacket keeping his body afloat.

We've been warned to stay away from the Boise River until the waters slow down and levels get low enough to make the river safe enough to float, but unfortunately, this young man decided to jump in and now a massive search is underway to find him.

34-year-old Keawe Pestana jumped into the river without hesitation when a canoe that three children were in capsized on the Salmon River.

Twenty cats were found crammed into the bathroom of a Treasure Valley motel room in July, and seventy-seven were rescued in all. Charges are pending against the woman accused of hoarding, and the cats are being nursed back to health and are almost ready for adoption.
