A Black Cat, an apple, and a car... It sounds like a weird game of clue, but it's a real crime that happened here in the Treasure Valley, likely, the most bizarre thus far (in 2021).
Growing up my grandmother was a bit of a hoarder and had a shipping container in her yard to help hold all of her 'treasures'. So when I think of shipping containers on properties my mind goes to that, and it was not pretty, it was quite the eye sore but I loved grandma so much it didn't matter. However what they have done with these upcycled shipping containers has me all kinds of impressed. I'd like to see Pinterest top it.
One thing I know, is that when times are the hardest, individuals hearts seem to grow and help out in unsuspecting ways. Like who would have guessed that 50,000 pounds of premium frozen trout would be available for the Treasure Valley community out of the blue.
This is a great example of how bystanders, collected together with the community to make a difference to help this horse who otherwise would have been in a world of trouble. I am an huge animal lover so thank you to everyone who helped out :)
Sweet little Zoe has already had over 1,000 days of chemo. Her mom asked for some local encouragement and it went WAY past local. Zoe is getting cards from around the world now.
This three day festival will be filled with tons of vendor booths, lots of activities for kids, live music, delicious food, cold beer, a variety of entertainers, and a wine garden!
Last year, the Women's March Idaho was both a march and rally that ended up with an estimated crowd of 6000 at the State Capitol. This year's rally was another big success.
Today was a busy day for WOW, but busy is just how we like it! It was a beautiful day outside and what better way to spend the day than with a gigantic community block party out in Meridian! The block party was held at Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park right behind the Village and was truly a blast for everyone...
