UPDATE: Stay Inside in Kuna!! Code Red Alert!

Residents in Kuna are encouraged to stay inside as more than 20 officers search for a suspect. 

UPDATE (12:26p):

Ada County Sheriff's Office confirms the suspect is now dead and "the threat is over."

According to KTVB, It's unclear whether the man was killed by officers or took his own life. The bomb squad is currently at the scene near Ardell Road and Blackhawk Drive.

UPDATE:

The man in the BMW has fired at an officer multiple times. Luckily, the officer was not hit and additional officers have been called in to try and find the gunman.

His empty BMW was found near Linder and Ardell and they are searching in the Birds of Prey Subdivision for the suspect.

According to KTVB a Code Red Alert has been issued in Kuna and officers are looking for a black BMW.

The pursuit started about 5:30 this morning, but it's unclear right now why police are looking for the suspect.

In the meantime, stay indoors, don't answer your door for someone you don't know and about a mile of road is closed off between Meridian Road and Linder Road and between Hubbard and Deer Flat Roads.
