I don't know why but I feel like grocery shopping at Albertsons is just better than other places.  I know, it's weird but I do.  So the more options I have to do my shopping at Albertsons, the better, and Star, Idaho is getting a brand new store.

According to BoiseDev.com the Albertsons will be on State Street near Can-Ada Road.  It'll sit on 116 acres and as of now, there is no date set in stone as to when it'll start or be finished.

Star is the smallest city in Ada County but the fastest growing so a nice, cool Albertsons on the corner will be perfect for the more than 5,000 people that have moved in over the past year.  That's 40% growth in a very short period of time.

Albertsons is also setting up new stores in Boise's Barber Valley and in Meridian.  Oh, and there's a brand new store going up at Broadway and Beacon near downtown that'll replace the older, smaller Albertsons that's been there for awhile.
