Be prepared when heading home from work or picking up the kids at school today.  Snow is hitting and it's just going to get worse as the day rolls on.

Yes, there's a lot of rain for today's forecast but some areas of the Treasure Valley are already accumulating snow.  Snow usually means accidents when rush hour time hits so we're asking everyone to please use caution when leaving to head home for the day.

  • Turn on your headlights
  • Leave early to give yourself plenty of time to get where you need to go
  • Slow down
  • Drive defensively and be ready for others to make mistakes

The snow and rain may clear up but because of the slick conditions of the roads please be prepared and use caution.  We've had a good run as far as accidents go lately and we'd love to keep everyone safe and sound.

We're back to just cloudy tomorrow with highs up to 50 and Thursday we'll get more rain with highs in the low to mid 50's.
