Rescuers are continuing their efforts to save a second stranded horse on Boulder Mountain in Valley County.

You might remember earlier in the week when a horse was found by a group of snowmobilers roughly 7700 feet up Boulder Mountain in McCall.  Initially weather conditions prevented any kind of rescue attempt, but the horse was later saved once conditions eased up allowing rescuers to move in.

However, a second horse remains missing and Idaho Rescue Mission says they are planning to make a second attempt at a rescue which they hope to complete by air.  The group says, "we got access to the thermal imaging camera and will be airborne shortly to look for the remaining horse."
