Nampa Police Start Carrying Heroin Antidote

Thumbs up to our Nampa Police Department who are being proactive in losing lives to drugs.  They'll now be carrying an antidote for those overdosing on heroin.

Most officers will be trained on this drug used to reverse overdoses caused by heroin and other opioid drugs by December 3.  The drug is called Narcan and can be used by officers for emergency treatment only on people suffering from an overdose.
