Nampa Man Dies in Motor Home Fire On I-84

A Nampa man died yesterday when he couldn't get out of his burning motor home on I-84 next to Mountain Home.

68 year old Amado Martinez pulled over on Interstate 84 because he thought he was out of fuel.  He dumped gasoline all over the carburetor and when he started the engine, a fire ignited.  The motor home doors wouldn't unlock and Amado was trapped inside as the fire spread out of control.  Within minutes, the RV was engulfed in flames.  Idaho State Troopers tried to break open windows and bust down a door but were unsuccessful.
