Two police officers are being hailed hero's after saving a woman from a "suspicious" house fire.

It started with family fight on Jackson St. in Mountain Home. As officers were dealing with the fight, they were alerted that smoke was coming out of the house and a woman who is unable to walk was asleep in one of the bedrooms.

The smoke was so bad that Officer Brian Thomas couldn't see, but he crawled on his hands and knees, going from bedroom to bedroom until he found the woman.

Sgt. Russell Griggs then used a fire extinguisher and brought the woman to safety.
