We've had another tragedy in the Treasure Valley. This time a motorcycle crash right by a middle school.

The victims identity has not been released, but the crash happened on Saturday at about 7:30 in the evening.

The driver was on a 1993 Yamaha motorcycle when he lost control and hit a chain fence along a walking path near Jefferson Middle School in Caldwell.

The fatal crash took place on the north side of the school near Spruce and Fircrest Streets.

According to the Idaho Statesman, the man was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Unfortunately, this serves as yet another warning to please wear a helmet when riding any type of a bike and wear your seat belt whenever you are in a vehicle. We have lost far too many lives here lately. Our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by this loss of life.
