More Than a Foot of Snow Hits Idaho Ski Resorts

Two storms this weekend and colder temperatures kick off a great start for the ski resorts here in the Treasure Valley area.

It is early so the amount of snow coming in Idaho's higher elevations have been very different but the important thing for skiers and snowboarders is a good, solid base of snow and that's happening as we speak.

Here's how much snow has been reported from some of our favorite resorts so far

• Tamarack - 27 inches over the last 48 hours
• Brundage Mountain Resort - 10 to 12 inches
• Bogus Basin -15 inches
• Sun Valley - 10 inches
