A moose on the loose caused several car accidents in Idaho this morning!

Eastern Idaho traffic in American Falls dealt with one pesky moose as rush hour kicked off this morning along I-86.

The chain reaction started when a 54 year old woman from Pocatello hit the moose around the Rainbow Road overpass.

A second car swerved to avoid hitting the moose and went off the roadway, rolled into the median, and ended up hitting a concrete pillar.

According to KTVB, a third car hit the body of the moose and went off the roadway onto the right shoulder.

The good news, everyone involved was wearing seat belts and there were no life-threatening injuries.

The bad news, the moose did not survive.
