Man Dies in Snake River

A man who jumped into the Snake River to escape police has been found dead. 

Three weeks ago, 20 year old Danny Havens lead police on a chase from Fruitland into Oregon after domestic dispute and the whole ordeal ended with Danny jumping into the Snake River.

Police gave up the chase at that point. They didn't know if Danny had truly gotten away at that point or if the worst was yet to come.

According to KTVB, Danny drowned after jumping into the freezing cold water and his body has now been recovered.
