Les Bois Park Shutting Down

Les Bois Park will cease all racing operations effective this weekend.

The Idaho Racing Commission confirmed this to be true last night.  This will effect communities from Emmett to Boise to Idaho Falls.  Idaho legislation finally won out in the heated battle over the slot-like-machines that make it possible for Les Bois Park to financially stay in the positive.

Unfortunately this will also effect other tracks here in Idaho because Les Bois Park funds help the smaller tracks stay afloat.  Emmett has already cancelled it's April races because there's no Purse money.
