Idaho’s Largest Sequoia Tree Relocating

The tree is 104-years-old, but it's getting a facelift and a new home in the spring.

St. Luke's in downtown Boise is ponying up the $300,000 to relocate the sequoia tree to nearby Fort Boise park.

The reason for the relocation? The tree is right in the way of a planned expansion for the hospital.
