Idaho Deputy Headed to Jail

He had the law in his hands, but now he’s being locked up for stealing from the police. 

40 year old Chad Schiermeier was handed down the maximum sentence, 14 years in prison, for stealing $80,000 in unauthorized purchases for personal use between 2009 and 2015.

According to usnews.com Schiermeier is a former Blaine County Deputy and he’ll need to serve six years of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.

So what did he buy with all that money? Hunting gear, camping equipment, cameras, binoculars, video equipment, and stuff for his truck.
