High Speed Chase In Boise

High speed chase ends in 33 year old Scott Stanton of Payette arrested near Ann Morrison Park in Boise.

Stanton was involved in a hit an run accident on I-84 in the Nampa area.  Officers found Stanton, still on I-84 near Eagle road a bit later and the chase was on.  Stanton wasn't about to just pull over and give himself up.

Stanton sped up to about 90 mph and eventually took the connector heading towards downtown Boise.  Cops caught up to Stanton at the River street exit where Stanton started swerving and using profane gestures.

Ann Morrison Park is where the chase finally ended at the corner of Royal Blvd. and Luke street.  Total damage includes four police cars and a parked automobile but nobody was hurt.  Stanton is headed to jail charged with felony eluding and aggravated assault on law enforcement officers.
