Any kind of abuse is obviously not o.k. but there's something extra horrible when you see a defenseless animal being tortured and then killed.  Idaho Fish and Game say they have no idea if these ducks and geese will survive.  They've brought some in for medical attention and it doesn't look good.

Someone is intentionally using blow darts to attack these animals at Julia Davis Park in Boise.  Tuesday afternoon around 5:45 a man (Brian Rodenspiel) discovered the animals and immediately contacted authorities.  The authorities are investigating and have made this case a top priority.  The Idaho Statesman reported that Brian found at least three ducks and two geese with blow darts through their faces and he says there's probably more.  Brian also says this isn't the first time.  He's come across this type of abuse before.  The Boise Police Department is aware of the situation along with Idaho Fish and Game and Citizens Against Poaching.
