We have had far too many accidents this summer and here we have another one this morning involving a cyclist and a car off of Floating Feather Road.

It happened this morning at the intersection of Floating Feather Road and Seven Oaks Way. The cyclist was riding in the bike lane when all of a sudden he was hit by a car turning north.

Right now we don't know the condition of the cyclist. He's in the hospital receiving treatment and we're crossing our fingers he'll be o.k.

The crash was bad enough that he hit the windshield of the car and shattered it and the front wheel of the bike was bent really bad.

According to KTVB, a 19 year old woman was behind the wheel of the car and she has been cited for failing to yield.
