It's something I feel like you might see in Seattle, but this very unique coffee shop is proposing a store next to the Boise River!

We all know how much Idahoan's love their coffee. I swear there is a coffee shop on every corner of the Treasure Valley, but this new coffee shop has a pretty unique set up.

The new store is appropriately called Coffee Box, and according to boisedev.com their "shop" will be set inside three shipping containers! The proposed location is in Garden City next to the Boise River at N. Adams Street and East 42nd Street as part of the Parkway Station development.

The coffee will be served inside two shipping containers stacked on top of each other, while the third shipping container will be used for restrooms. The design shows seating on top of the shipping containers and on the patio, but keep in mind the tightness of this space. A shipping container is just 8 feet by 40 feet!

The proposed "Coffee Box" went in front of the Garden City Designing Review Board this afternoon. We'll keep you updated if this project gets approved!
