Looking for a way to honor those who have served? Here's some things you can do here in Boise...

Instead of just taking the day off, check out some of the ways you can show your support for our Veterans here in the Treasure Valley according to the Idaho Statesman.

The Jordan Ballroom at Boise State is Screening: “Bravo! Common Men, Uncommon War:  This award-winning documentary is by local filmmakers Ken and Betty Rodgers. It tells the story of the 77-day Siege of Khe Sanh. It's free and starts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

Idaho State Veterans Home: A special ceremony will be held at the Idaho Veterans Home, 320 Collins Road in Boise on Wednesday at 11 a.m. The ceremony will honor all military veterans, with a special emphasis this year on veterans in Idaho who have received the Medal of Honor.

Meridian Veterans Day Ceremony: Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park at 11am on Wednesday.Seating is limited, so it's recommended you bring a folding chair.

Northwest Nazarene University Veterans Ceremony: Wednesday, Nov. 11th at 11am in the Student Center on the NNU campus.

College of Western Idaho: The CWI Veterans Association and Student Enrichment Department will cover the west lawn of the Nampa Campus Academic Building with 300 American flags donated by the Eagle Field of Honor. The field is lit at night and is open through Nov. 12.
