Carly’s Thanksgiving Leftover Ideas
Sick off all that turkey, stuffing, and potatoes?! Here's some of my ideas for using those leftovers... and you won't feel like you are eating anything from Thanksgiving!
Everyone at my house is tired of making turkey sandwiches, but I have to make use of this stuff, so I started getting creative and we've had some successes!

Turkey Bolognese
Giada De LarentisI asked my family at dinner tonight if they had any idea that this meal was created using turkey leftovers and no one had any idea! Even my kids ate it! I chopped up the turkey really small so it didn't feel like you were eating turkey!

Turkey Pot Pies
This is a recipe I made up all by my self, but my kids beg me to make it all the time! I usually use leftover chicken, but turkey is an easy substitute! It's so easy. Saute a little onion and garlic in a pan with some olive oil until tender. Add chopped carrots and cut up turkey. Add one can of Cream of Chicken Soup with Herbs and thin it down with about 1/3 to 1/2 a can of milk. Add frozen peas right at the end and leave them in for no more than a minute.
Transfer to individual ramekins, top with leftover mashed potatoes and cheddar or parmesan cheese. Heat under a broiler until golden and bubbly!

Savory Turkey and Cranberry Crepes
I love using leftover breakfast crepes in a savory way and this recipe is really yummy. If you don't want to deal with anything complicated though, make some basic crepes, stuff them with turkey and cranberries and top with warm gravy and they will still be very good.

Turkey Chili
This recipe takes 30 minutes! You hardly notice the turkey and I love that it doesn't have any similar flavors of Thanksgiving.
