There are a lot of reasons to be proud of Boise State University, and they've just made a new list that gives us yet another reason to tout our blue and orange everything. According to KBOI, Boise State University was named one of the most 'Innovative National Universities' in the country by U.S. News and World Report.

Boise State came in at No. 45 on the 2019 list, joining the likes of some major universities in the West, including Stanford, UCLA, University of Washington, and Cal Tech. The list was compiled with the help of college officials from around the U.S. who got to nominate those universities they felt made the most "innovative improvements in terms of curriculum, faculty, students, campus life, technology or facilities.”

This isn't the first time BSU has been said to have an innovative culture (via kboi.com);

    • 2017: The Association of Public and Land-Grant Universities names Boise State one of five universities in the country recognized for employing “innovative approaches to improve retention and degree completion.
