The shooting of three Boise police officers, including one K-9 officer, has understandably rocked our community to its' core.  There are many ways people are dealing with the incident.  Hundreds showed up for last night's candlelight vigil.  A GoFundMe page which was set up on Saturday has now raised nearly $60,000.  And now Boise Police Chief Bill Bones has come up with a way for kids in the community to show support for the wounded officers.

In a video posted on Facebook, Chief Bones is asking Treasure Valley children to make get well cards, messages, and pictures to give to the officers.  The video now has thousands of shares plus many comments from those wanting to show their support.
