Boise Man Faces up to 25 Years in Prison for the Lamest Crime Ever
We're not saying you should commit a crime, but if you're gonna spend 25 years behind bars shouldn't it at least be less lame than this?
Again, don't break the law. But, isn't it kinda cool when you hear about an old school bank robbery? Or a high-speed car chase? Admit it, we can't look away. This is the exact opposite of that. This may very well be the absolute lamest crime ever committed.
KTVB reports that police were called on Tuesday, March 13th, around 9:00 a.m. to Kootenai Street. Why were they called? Because 32-year-old Nicholas Gonring is being accused of arson. But, for the stupidest reason ever.
He's being charged for using gasoline to light a fence on fire outside an apartment complex. Even better, he used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames before police arrive.
Let's review. This clown could face up to 25 years in prison...for lighting a fence on fire for a very short period of time. I can honestly say I feel dumber for having written this story.
