Bikes for Caldwell Kids

Some very cool kids in Caldwell just got some well deserved bikes, but the story of how these bikes came to be is even neater! Here's the inspiring story.

The Canyon Bike project just provided kids who didn't have bikes at Lincoln Elementary a chance to ride!! The kids were given bikes through a project that has partnered with Canyon County Juvenile Probation, local bike shops and, Love Caldwell.

Teens on probation participate in restoring and repairing the bikes that are given to kids in need, so it's a win win situation. The teens learn about service and giving back to the community while those receiving bikes couldn't be more grateful.

Kids are chosen through letters they write that describe what they would do if they had a bike and/or why they should get one. Over 100 bikes have been given out in the past year!! Click HERE to learn more about the project.
