A native of the Treasure Valley, Mike knows what it means to be a local Country boy. Upon graduation from Kuna High School in 2003, he joined the US Marine Corps as a field radio operator. Though Mike loved being a Marine and serving his country, he chose to pursue a Communications degree at Boise State. In 2009, Mike began his radio career behind-the-scenes as a Promotions technician for all six Peak Broadcasting stations. Shortly after joining the Promotions team—setting up for events, supporting live remote broadcasts and interacting with station listeners—Mike was given the opportunity to be the late-night Sunday host on WOW Country 104.3. After almost two years as the Sunday night DJ, he was promoted to weeknights, where he continued to grow as a radio personality for the #1 Country station in Boise. Mike is now pursuing his love of all things video for Townsquare Media, but can be heard on WOW Country weekdays 7-9pm.
