Two Idaho teens are dead after a high speed car crash near Post Falls last night.

KTVB reports that around 8:45 pm police arrived on scene at West Haven Avenue near Idaho Road to find a 2002 Jaguar crashed, a natural gas line ruptured, and two teenagers dead inside the vehicle.

Investigators say the car was headed westbound on Hayden Avenue from Idaho road at very high speeds when they crashed through a fence, rolled through some trees, and hit a gas line before coming to a stop.

The teens, who were both 17, have not been identified other than to say that one is from Post Falls, Idaho and the other is originally from Veradale, Washington.

Alcohol was found at the scene, but it's unclear whether or not that played a factor in the fatal crash.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims.
