Did you know there's a Boise, Oklahoma and a Meridian, Texas? Here's a list of Idaho copycat cities across the country!

I'm a big fan of the names of the cities here in the Treasure Valley. I'm silly like that I guess. I want the name of the city I live in to sound pretty! I came from a city in Utah called Herriman, and I was always a little embarrassed to say it because it sounded like Harry Man! I love the way Meridian sounds and I think Boise sounds really fancy and cool, but did you know there are multiple cities that share the same names that we have around the area?

Boise City, Oklahoma is the only other city with Boise in it in the country, so I'm ok with that. Plus, Boise City Oklahoma is a tiny town with only about 1,200 people, so it's barely on the map.

Meridian copycat cities include Meridian, Mississippi and Meridian, Texas.

There's a Star, North Carolina along with four cities that go by the name of Eagle in the country. Eagle, Colorado, Eagle, Wisconsin, Eagle, Arkansas, and Eagle, Michigan.

There are 5 other Caldwell cities in the United States. Caldwell, Kansas, Caldwell, Ohio, Caldwell, Texas, Caldwell, West Virginia, and Caldwell Arkansas.

Mountain Home is also a very common city name. We've got Mountain Home, Texas, Mountain Home, North Carolina, Mountain Home, Tennessee, Mountain Home, Utah and Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Luckily, if you live in Nampa or Kuna you can take pride in being one of a kind, there's only one Nampa and one Kuna in the entire country!
