Berkeley Building Co. couldn’t be more excited to embark on their 4th St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Dream Home.

For the first time they will be building the Dream Home in Meridian, Idaho, recently voted the #1 best city to live in America by the Wall Street Journal.  WOW 104.3 visited the ground breaking ceremony and our own El Jeffe helped break ground!

The generosity of Quatro Properties and 43 Degrees North/Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate made land in the stunning Reflection Ridge community a reality for this year’s campaign, where they will be able to unveil a new single-level plan, the Belmont. This year’s Dream Home will offer enticing features like a full guest quarters, allowing for multi-generational living...among many other innovations and surprises. Once again, they get to rally our team of suppliers and contractors, as well as the community as a whole, to raise an unprecedented amount of money for the children and families of St. Jude. They hope to sell out quickly for this amazing cause that works so tirelessly towards the goal of eradicating pediatric cancer.” said Joe Atalla, vice president of Berkeley Building Company

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. It is the only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center devoted solely to children. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to 80 percent since the hospital opened more than 50 years ago. St. Jude is working to drive the overall survival rate for childhood cancer to 90 percent, and we won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. St. Jude freely shares the discoveries it makes, and every child saved at St. Jude means doctors and scientists worldwide can use that knowledge to save thousands more children. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
