Yesterday the Idaho House Education Committee voted to make students pass a Civics exam before they graduate high school. How would you do on the test?

Lawmakers say that Idaho high school students would have to get 60 out of 100 questions correct before they got their diploma. The questions come from the US Citizenship and Immigration Services Naturalization Test.

Here are a few questions that come directly from the test. The answers are at the bottom of the post. Good luck!

1. What is the supreme law of the land?

2. We elect a US Senator for how many years?

3. If both the President and the Vice President can no longer serve, who becomes President?

4. Who was President during World War I?

5. During the Cold War, what was the main concern of the United States?

(Answers below!)

2. six

3. The Speaker of the House

4. Woodrow Wilson

So, how'd you do? Now imagine having to answer 60 correct in order to graduate. Do you think this new law for Idaho high schoolers is a good idea?
