Women Behind Bars Are Making A Difference

You find yourself in the Ada County Jail and have some time on your hands? You might as well make the best of it like these ladies do!

Our friends over at KTVB did an awesome story this week on women who are incarcerated at the Ada County Jail. While behind bars they have an opportunity to take part in a sewing project, including making quilts for kids in need.

I love this idea! I mean, that's what jail should be for -- paying your debt to society and learning how to be a better person so when you get out you don't make the same mistakes. Instead, usually when people are locked up they just get scared, bitter, and angry. How does that serve them when they're released?

Way to go to the Ada County Jail for this program!
