Why Mr. Potato Heads Are Popping Up in the Boise Foothills

What is this?! Mr. Potato heads are being spotted all over the Boise Foothills! We did some digging and found out why!

Mr. and Mrs. Potato head figures are popping up along the Ridge to Rivers trail system in the Boise Foothills and people around the Treasure Valley are starting to have a lot of fun with it.

Here's the timeline showing when the toys have been popping up and it what fashion.

• May 7th: The first post on social media was of an unclothed Mr. Potato Head.
• May 18th: A milk carton photo popped up claiming a Potato Head had been "spudnapped"

Past this date all sorts of Mr. Potato Heads have been spotted in the Boise Foothills with different themes and clothing.

Apparently this is a nod to the International Mountain Bicycling Association honoring the Boise-Eagle as an IMBA Gold Ride Center.
