Nathan Ogden sat down in his seat to watch the BSU Broncos Friday night and when he got up to leave, his wheelchair was gone.  Stolen.

Here's a quote from Ogden...

"It's my livelihood. It's my life. It allows me to go down and tuck my girls into bed at night. It allows me to go to work. It allows me to assist my wife in things. It means so much more to people who need them.  So when you just take it for fun, you just changed someone's life dramatically."

I don't know if someone took it for fun or for someone else that needs a chair or to simple sell it for money but this is messed up.  Nathan just rode bikes with his family for 1,200 miles from Bend, Oregon to Santa Monica, California to raise over $43,000 which provided 288 free wheelchairs for those that needed them.  Then he comes home and someone steals his.

The chair was in the top secion 8 at Albertson's Stadium and was parked there around 5:45 p.m.  At 7:30 p.m. the chair was gone.  It's a Quickie brand Titanium wheelchair with custom wheels and the Boise Police Department are currently investigating any and all leads.  Please contact them with info at 208-377-6790.
