Warm weather means the orange cones are coming out in full effect! Here's where you can expect to be stalled, diverted, and flat out frustrated this summer!

$18 million dollars will be put into 54 construction projects this summer. 22 of those projects will be in Nampa, so be prepared for a lot of slow and go getting in or out of the city.

The Idaho Transportation Department will be adding a southbound lane at Karcher Rd and they will repaving a 7 mile stretch of roadway between Franklin Blvd in Nampa and Franklin Road in Caldwell.

The city of Nampa also wants to improve their pedestrian crosswalks, so a multi-use pathway on the Nampa High School side of Lake Lowell will replace the existing sidewalk. Construction will also make improvements for pedestrians crossing along 12th avenue.

According to KTVB, other construction projects include Idaho Center Boulevard and the orange cones will be out along Cherry Road. College of Western Idaho students will also see improvements for pedestrians.
