When Will Idaho’s Ski Season Begin?

Snow is in the forecast, it's getting colder and we're already at Mid-November, so when do we go skiing?  One resort kicks off Thanksgiving weekend.

Bogus Basin says we're going to have to wait a little longer.  There's not much snow as of yet and some ski resorts don't have any.  With that said, all resorts are confident that opening day will not be pushed back.

Big snowfalls are being predicted and technically, these resorts don't usually open until early to mid December.

Sun Valley's opening day is planned for Thanksgiving weekend.  They're excited and very confident this will happen.  Snow making machines combined with predicted snowfall should put all Idaho resorts on track for a great ski and snowboard season.
