Did sleeping in ever get you in trouble?

I am not one to sleep in. I'm usually up before my alarm and I've only slept in one time in the last 11 years that I've been doing morning radio. (It was coming off of a holiday weekend and I forgot to set my alarm.) I definitely sleep in on the weekends though and according to a new survey that's a really bad thing!

The survey by the University of Pittsburgh shows that sleeping in on the weekends does more harm than good.

Researchers discovered that those who sleep longer on the weekends than during the week tend to have "poorer cholesterol profiles, higher fasting insulin levels, a larger waist circumference, higher fasting insulin levels, larger waist circumference, a higher body-mass index, and they were more resistant to insulin!"

Does this mean we have to start getting up on the weekends too? I don't think I could do it!
