Paintings and sculptures of the human body sans clothing have been around since the beginning of time. At what point does "artistic freedom" go too far?

Take the recent incident in Manchester, England, where two women sat naked together on a bench in a public market, and rubbed jam all over each other. The two said it was an exercise in "artistic expression".

Once the two were smeared in jam, they wiped bread on each other and proceeded to eat the bread, while stunned people stood by.

Some people thought it was great. Others....did not.

I am not a prude, but I don't think there's anything artistic about two naked people rubbing jam all over each other in the name of "art". You are certainly entitled to your opinion, but I don't see anything remotely artful or artistic about it. I only see two women doing what ever they think they needed to do to gain their 15 minutes of fame, which of course...they are getting.

I'm not sure what something like this says about our human condition. I love art, and I love to paint, but this artist sees nothing but shock value and weirdness.

Don't believe me this happened? Well, in this day and age, you know people were snapping photos, taking videos, tweeting, facebooking...etc...and, I'm not sure what that says about our human condition either.
