Warm Springs Lodge in Ketchum Catches Fire

This doesn't look good. Flames could be seen pouring off the roof of the Warm Springs Lodge in Ketchum as of late last night.

According to an official press release, the fire was bad enough that crews were still battling the blaze this morning. It started at approximately 11:20 p.m. Wednesday night.

Luckily the lodge was closed for the season so there have been no injuries reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined and so far we don't know the official extent of the damage, but I think its safe to say it's probably extensive.

Warm Springs Lodge is located at the base of Bald Mountain and is one the most iconic Sun Valley area lodges for skiers and snowboarders during the season.

Hopefully, the damage isn't to the point where the lodge is completely destroyed and they can get it back up and running again. I hate to see such a beautiful vacation spot destroyed.
