The world's biggest retailer could soon be featuring two products made right here in Idaho. According to the Idaho Statesman, two companies based right here in the Treasure Valley are among the 100 businesses moving on to state two of Walmart's fifth annual Open Call event.

According to the Statesman, Fresca Mexican Foods LLC (based in Boise), and Decalcomania LLC where among the over 600 companies that pitched their ideas to executives in Arkansas and are hoping to get their products in front of millions of people all over the world.

Fresca Mexican Foods LLC produces about 3 million tortillas every single day, and they distribute them to seven countries around the world. They're in the process of moving to a different location in Caldwell, that will allow them to produce nearly triple the number of tortillas per day.

Decalcomania,  formed just 2.5 years ago and has focused their efforts in the home decor department. According to the Statesman, they create decals for walls, and when paired with an application on your phone, they become interactive. Following the news that they'd be meeting with Walmart, they teamed up with Marvel. They're also looking to move into bigger digs somewhere in Meridian.
