Valentines Sugar Cookies

This is my favorite sugar cookie recipe ever! 

I made these cookies with my aunt and our kids this morning. It's my Grandma's recipe and has been in our family for decades. Here's the recipe.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

cream together:

• 1 C. Butter
• 2 C. Sugar
• 2 Eggs
• 1 C. Sour Cream
• 1 tsp. Vanilla

Sift dry ingredients:

• 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
• 4 tsp Baking Powder
• 4 1/2 C. Flour

Add to creamed mixture. (dough will be sticky.) Roll out dough fairly thick on a floured board. Cut with cookie cutters. Bake on an un-greased baking sheet for 10-12 minutes.

Cream Cheese Frosting:

• 1 3 oz pkg of cream cheese
• 1/4 C. Butter
• 1 tsp Vanilla
• 2 C. Powdered Sugar

Beat cream cheese, butter, and vanilla. Gradually add powdered sugar.
