The robber walked in with a ski mask and a machete, leaving the employee of this small town bakery traumatized. 

 

UPDATE: The man who robbed the Rodriquez Bakery in Nyssa with a machete has been caught. He's identified as 21 year old Thomas Rupe. Rupe has been arrested and is behind bars at the county jail. He is facing first degree robbery and theft.

 

Rodriguez Bakery has been selling baked goods in Nyssa, Oregon since 1971. They've never had an issue with crime until about 8 pm this past Saturday night.

 

A robber walked in dawning a black ski mask, a camouflage jacket, and holding a machete. He demanded cash and got away with just over $300.

 

According to KTVB, he got away on foot or by bicycle.
