I'm determined to discover all that this beautiful valley has to offer! Here's some Treasure Valley must sees!

I have lots of friends and family stopping by to visit me this summer and I can't wait to show them around. Of course you can't visit Boise without a float down the river, a hike up table rock, and a trip down "freak alley," but here's a few places to discover that you may not have thought about.

Recently we visited the Boise Depot to film a commercial. You can see breathtaking views of the city from this spot and a cool old steamroller. The depot was closed on the day we paid a visit, but if you're lucky you can ride all the way to the top! Another depot you may want to check out is the Nampa Train Depot. It was built in 1903 and is the sole reason that the city of Nampa is in existence! The Oregon Short Line bypassed Boise nearly 113 years ago and the city was built around it.

Back in Boise, check out the Idaho Veterans Cemetery. This cemetery is set against the beautiful Boise Foothills and pays tribute 24/7 to those who paid the ultimate sacrifice. (This is definitely on my Boise bucket list to visit!)

The last cool spot you may not think to check out is the Boise Capitol Building. Built from local sandstone, it's one of the only capitol buildings in America that is heated geothermally and its topped by a 6 foot golden eagle. You can learn tons about Idaho history right inside!

I swear I love this city the more and more I discover it! For more Idaho adventures click HERE.
